Menu Scheduling

Automate your menu changes by scheduling when menus go live or expire.

Why Use Scheduling?

  • Launch seasonal menus at midnight on the start date
  • Automatically switch between lunch and dinner menus
  • Remove limited-time offerings when they end
  • Prepare menus in advance without manual publishing

Setting Up a Schedule

  1. Open your menu in the editor
  2. Click the Schedule button in the toolbar
  3. Set your scheduling options:
    • Start Date/Time - When the menu becomes visible
    • End Date/Time (optional) - When the menu stops being visible
  4. Click Save Schedule

Timezone Settings

Schedules use your restaurant's timezone setting:

  1. Go to SettingsGeneral
  2. Set your restaurant's timezone
  3. All schedules will follow this timezone
⚠️

Warning

Make sure your timezone is correct before scheduling menus, especially for restaurants in different time zones than your account.

Coming Soon Teasers

Build anticipation for new menus:

  1. Enable Show Coming Soon when scheduling
  2. Add a custom teaser message (e.g., "New Summer Menu - June 1st!")
  3. Visitors will see the teaser before the menu goes live

Viewing Scheduled Menus

On your menu list, scheduled menus show:

  • 🟡 Scheduled - Waiting to go live
  • 🟢 Live - Currently visible
  • Ending Soon - Will expire within 24 hours
  • 🔴 Expired - No longer visible

Editing Scheduled Menus

You can edit a scheduled menu at any time:

  • Content changes are saved but not visible until the schedule activates
  • Schedule changes take effect immediately
