Turn TVs and monitors into dynamic menu boards with Menu Studio's display feature.

Creating a Display

  1. Go to your restaurant dashboard
  2. Click Displays in the sidebar
  3. Click Create Display
  4. Configure your display settings

Display Settings

Orientation

  • Landscape (1920×1080) - Standard TVs, wide monitors
  • Portrait (1080×1920) - Vertical displays, kiosks

Slide Duration

Set how long each slide shows (5-60 seconds)

Transitions

  • Fade (smooth crossfade)
  • Slide (horizontal movement)
  • None (instant change)

Building Your Slideshow

Add slides to your display:

Styling Slides

Each slide can have custom styling:

  • Background color
  • Text color
  • Font size (small, medium, large, extra-large)
  • Custom layout options

Tip

Use larger font sizes for displays viewed from a distance, like TV menu boards.

Display Templates

Choose from 12+ pre-built templates:

  • Default (balanced layout)
  • Full Bleed (edge-to-edge images)
  • Minimal (clean and simple)
  • Split (side-by-side content)
  • And more...

Exporting Displays

For TV/Monitor Display

  1. Click View Display to open the live display URL
  2. Open this URL in full-screen mode on your TV
  3. Display auto-updates when you make changes

As Video

  1. Click ExportVideo (MP4)
  2. Download the video file
  3. Play on any media player or digital signage system

As Images

  1. Click ExportImages (PNG)
  2. Download a ZIP of all slides
  3. Use with any slideshow software

Brand Overrides

By default, displays use your restaurant's brand settings. Override them per-display for:

  • Different color schemes
  • Alternative fonts
  • Special event branding
