Can't log in? Here's how to fix authentication problems

Login Issues

Having trouble signing in to Menu Studio? Let's get you back in.

Forgot Password

  1. Go to the sign in page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for the reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password

Password reset links expire after 24 hours. Request a new one if needed.

Not Receiving Reset Email

Check spam/junk folder first!

If the email doesn't arrive:

  1. Verify you're using the correct email address
  2. Check if your email provider blocks automated emails
  3. Add noreply@menustudio.com to your contacts
  4. Wait a few minutes and try again
  5. Contact support if still not working

Invalid Email or Password

Symptoms: Error message on login.

Solutions:

  1. Double-check your email spelling
  2. Check Caps Lock isn't on
  3. Try copying password from password manager
  4. Reset your password if unsure

Account Locked

Symptoms: Message says account is locked or suspended.

This can happen due to:

  • Too many failed login attempts
  • Billing issues
  • Terms of service violation

Solutions:

  1. Wait 30 minutes and try again (failed attempts)
  2. Check billing status in email
  3. Contact support@menustudio.com

Can't Sign Up

Symptoms: Sign up process fails.

Check:

  1. Use a valid email format
  2. Password meets requirements (8+ characters, mix of types)
  3. You're not using a disposable email address
  4. Account doesn't already exist (try password reset)

Session Expired

Symptoms: Randomly logged out while working.

Causes:

  • Inactive for extended period
  • Browser cleared cookies
  • Signed in on another device

Solutions:

  1. Sign in again
  2. Check "Remember me" when logging in
  3. Don't clear cookies for menustudio.com

Tip

Your work is auto-saved, so being logged out shouldn't lose changes.

Browser Compatibility

Menu Studio works best on:

  • Chrome (recommended)
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge

If having issues:

  1. Update your browser to latest version
  2. Disable browser extensions
  3. Try incognito/private mode
  4. Clear cookies for menustudio.com

Two-Factor Authentication Issues

If you've enabled 2FA and can't access:

  1. Use your backup codes (saved during 2FA setup)
  2. If no backup codes, contact support with identity verification

  • Your email address
  • When you last successfully logged in
  • Error messages (screenshot if possible)
